Materials Needed For The Necklace

  • 4-inch extension chain
  • 2 silver crimp beads
  • A jump ring and a lobster  clasp
  • Two pairs of chain-nose pliers
  • Wire cutter plier
  • 2 crimp cover beads
  • Flat-nose plier
  • Blue 16mm glass beads

How To Make This Necklace

Step1

There are several weights and thicknesses of beading wire and colors that play a big role in the design, You have a lot of options to choose from, including 19- or 49-strand beading wire for better flexibility and strength also famous for stinging glass beads, pearls, gemstones, and other heavy beads selecting a weak thread won’t support your heavyweight because I’m using 16mm glass beads I recommended bright bead stringing wire of o.46 mm for better drape. Cut 20 20-inch lengths of beading wire and leave an extra 3 inches longer.

Step2

There are different kinds of crimp beads, the most popular being tube-shaped and round. The role of crimp beads is to help secure the loupe of your beaded jewelry and the clasp to be attached to it. I’m going to use crimping pliers I found out it’s easy to work with, and you can also use flat pliers. For this project, I’m going to use a tube-shaped crimp. String onto the length of beading wire one crimp and one lobster clasp. To form the loop, thread wire back through the crimp bead and crimpPass the beading wire back through the crimp and leave a tail of beading wire a couple of inches longer Slide the crimp beads up towards the clasp to shorten the loop at the clasp. Use crimping pliers to flatten the crimp bead. Squeeze the beads with the flatter crimping.

Step3

String on your 16mm glass beads in exactly the same order, then repeat the process. For the other side, thread the beading wire through a close jump ring and bead crimp, creating a loop, then tighten all of your beads by pulling on the tail, leaving no gaps in your project Use your wire cutter pliers to cut off the access end of the cord as close as possible to the bead. Cover your crimp bead for a nice touch.

Big glass beads can be worn as casual wear. In fact, oversized glass beads can add a fun, playful touch to an everyday outfit. You can wear a necklace with large glass beads with a plain t-shirt and jeans for a relaxed and comfortable look, or pair it with a maxi dress for a more bohemian vibe. The key to wearing big glass beads as casual wear is to balance the size of the beads with the rest of your outfit. For example, if you’re wearing large beads, you may want to opt for smaller, more understated earrings or bracelets to avoid an over-the-top look.

Conclusion

When it comes to producing attention-grabbing ornaments, glass beads emerge as an ageless preference. You should search through the assorted varieties of glass beads accessible, ranging from dainty seed beads to elaborate lampwork beads.
